Asia holds the extremes: the last Amur leopards in temperate snow forest, orangutans in equatorial peat, macaques bathing at minus fifteen. There is no single approach; there is only the particular place.
Much of the best work here is done with camera traps and long stationary hides, because the animals are too few and too wary for anything else.
